After looking at a lot of dodge, gm, and ford dash pics, what i have decided to do is make a hybrid unit using the dash overlay from a gm product
Many gm products from the 90's on use a 7. One thing i've noticed so far is that the clutch has some neutral chatter to it, now given what the nv3500 is and that i've never lived with one before, i'm assuming this is normal I just grabbed up a 98 durango and i am planning to create a build series on the progress so i can look back on what a hunk of junk it was. I have gone back and forth a number of times before finally settling in on the build direction for my 1998 dodge durango
