So at that price i'll think twice about buying unless he will let me take it to get it checked out first! The ford focus is recognized for its reliability, with a high mileage range of 200,000 to 250,000 miles achievable through proper maintenance I accept that condition is paramount at this age of car, but a good low mileage one is still better than good high mileage one

I recently bumped another high mileage thread, but it looks like it's old from 2015, so wanted to start a new one. My mk6 st had 104k miles on it when i sold it and she was as tight as a drum, never missed a beat in my 5 years of ownership and as far as i am aware, the current owner loves it almost. You have to remember, these things are built for fleet work as fords have traditionally been. I sold my mk2 focus 1.6 tdci last year with 135k miles and the only problem i had with the engine was the egr value which i replaced at approximately 100k miles.
