I've already had the block machined and the pistons ordered so these measurements are really just out of curiosity/learning how to use a bore gauge Anyone know a site where you can check your vw vin build sheet So i'm going to be starting to purchase items for my passat in the next month or so and building a full list of service items i'll be doing

I'm not sure how much customizing i'll be able to do right.

This is the first vw i had disassembled to the service position, not hard to do and lots of access, recommended if you have serious work to do on one.

Would like to share my progress on the passat build Already almost 2 months of ownership and i’ve done quite a bit, saving for a skid plate as of now so i can get. As far as the engine bay, everything is just about hooked up with the exception of the vacuum lines going to the turbo inlet pipe I picked up some npt.
