So to start off on the general platform of the build, i have a 2008 silverado 1500 wt. Was my fathers truck, purchased it off him for a steal of a price 2008 silverado ecsb 2wd, owned it for going on 2 years now and have done a good amount to it so far, ill try. I haven't made a video in about 9 months and forgot to film basically all of the b. So i figured id start a build thread now that the money flow is real and the truck can get some more serious upgrades Sooo lets start off with the build. Debadge and demolding this weekend (z71 sticker is getting taken off too)
Getting the 7'' fts kit plus strut spacers and the black fts 2.0 remote reservoir (rear) put on.
I just had the transmission rebuilt here in mn on my 2004 1500 cost me $2,600. A lot of places wanted to do the remanufactured route but i just wanted it rebuilt. I got my silverado 4 years ago and it's taken me on a ton of adventures It's become my way to get out of the city, rally down forest service roads, and set up my little home away from home.
