Mazda has made some technical changes to the pcv system that considerably reduce the amount of oil vapor from depositing on the intake valves, but it does not eliminate it Is there a concensus on wether these do much to reduce carbon deposits on the intake valves or should i still expect to clean them at. For me, it was worth the extra hour of work because it made getting the two hoses onto their respective barbs (pcv and intake) super easy.
